PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY:

Jennifer A. Tiedeken represents clients in a wide range of complex commercial and employment matters in Colorado and around the country in both federal and state courts. Ms. Tiedeken's primary areas of practice include securities litigation, employment litigation, complex commercial litigation and general civil litigation.

Ms. Tiedeken graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in English from Colorado State University. She also earned a Secondary English Education teaching certificate. However, instead of settling into a teaching career, she completed a law degree at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. She is licensed to practice in Colorado and Wyoming.

While Ms. Tiedeken enjoys the challenge of litigation cases, a big portion of her practice also focuses on preventative measures. She works closely with companies to draft documents and create company policies that reduce litigation risks. For example, she assists with redrafting employee handbooks and providing sensitivity training. Ms. Tiedeken also represents employees in wrongful termination, hostile work environment, harassment, and retaliation matters. Ms. Tiedeken also represents corporations in many areas of general business, including incorporation, Bylaws, Operating Agreements, business purchases and buyouts, shareholder buyouts, and business divorce matters.

Ms. Tiedeken has published articles and completed scholarly lectures on employment law. She is also actively involved in several professional organizations, such as the Colorado Women's Bar Association.

Jennifer joined Massey, Kelly & Priebe, PLLC in 2024 and enjoys skiing, traveling, golf, and spending time with her family.
